Who We Are

We’re a group of Catholic young adults in Seattle who want to grow closer to Christ together in a community.

We’re doing this via our small groups and weekly events.

(Our events normally pull about 30-100 people; new faces are normal, and always welcome!)

Frassati Young Adults is a Seattle-based ministry of UW Newman Center and Blessed Sacrament Church, but the community is composed of young adults from all over the Seattle area. In addition to our dedicated small group leaders and volunteer teams, our core leadership team is known as the “Frassati Council”. These amazing individuals commit to a year of service and direct and organize our main events and retreats, with Fr. Chrysostom Mijinke as Director and Mrs. Gizelle Gando as Assistant Director. We meet as a council privately every month to discuss Frassati, but you will always see at least one of us at any of our main events.

Thank You Benefactors!

The existence of Frassati Young Adults is reliant on the support provided to the UW Newman Center (which Frassati is a ministry of), as well as the financial contributions specifically given by people for Frassati's budgetary requirements. Over the past two years, we organized a Fall fundraising event called "Flights with Frassati," during which we explored local breweries and generated funds for our ministry. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Raimon Llanos, Frassati’s main sponsor from Fall 2023, for his remarkable contribution.
